Helping You Create The Life You Want to Live
Navigating Life’s Challenges with Compassionate Support
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New York City offering individual therapy for adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained. Many people come to therapy feeling worried, sad, fearful, or noticing patterns in their relationships or inner lives that they want to better understand.
I offer a warm, collaborative, and affirming therapy space focused on helping you make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. Rather than quick fixes, therapy with me emphasizes understanding emotional patterns, past experiences, and relationships so that meaningful and lasting change can develop over time.
I work closely with LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, men, and those navigating identity concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I am attentive to how culture, race, gender, sexuality, and social context shape emotional well-being.
If you are looking for a therapist in NYC who offers thoughtful, depth-oriented psychotherapy in a supportive environment, I invite you to reach out and see if working together feels like a good fit.

My Approach to Therapy
The kind of therapy I offer is a space to slow things down and really make sense of what is happening inside you and in your relationships with others.
I work from a psychodynamic and relational perspective, which means I am interested in your story, your emotional world, and how your past experiences and relationships shape the way you see yourself and move through life today. We are not only focused on fixing symptoms, but on understanding where they come from and why they make sense. From there, real and lasting change becomes possible.
Therapy with me is not about being analyzed or told what to do. It is a collaborative and thoughtful relationship where you can be curious about yourself without judgment. Often, patterns that feel confusing or painful outside of therapy show up between us in subtle ways. When we are able to notice and talk about them together, they begin to lose some of their power.
I also believe therapy should feel human, grounded, and real. We talk about your feelings, your relationships, your fears, your hopes, and the parts of yourself you may have learned to hide or manage on your own. You do not need to come in with everything figured out. That is what the work is for.
In addition to my clinical work, I teach and supervise therapists in training at NYU. Teaching keeps me deeply connected to questions about growth, identity, power, culture, and what it actually means to sit with another person in pain. I have trained and worked in a range of settings, including community mental health, hospitals, academic clinics, and private practice, and I bring that breadth of experience into the room with care and humility.
My work is affirming of LGBTQ+ identities and attentive to how race, culture, gender, immigration history, and social context shape emotional life. Many of my clients are navigating questions about identity, belonging, relationships, and how to live more fully and authentically in a complicated world.
If you are looking for a therapy space that is thoughtful, warm, and focused on understanding you without rushing you, we might be a good fit. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you do not have to do it alone. I would be glad to talk and see if working together feels right.
