Helping You Create The Life You Want to Live

If you are ready to invest in yourself and your well-being, I am honored and excited to be part of this process with you.

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I have extensive experience working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and trauma. I also have the pleasure of working with clients who identify as LGBTQ+, people of color, men, and clients who are exploring the intersection of their identities.

Please note that at this time my practice only offers virtual tele-health sessions.

What Can We Help You Work Through?

  • • Anxiety

  • • Self-Esteem

  • • Depression

  • • Loss and Trauma

  • • Burnout

  • • LGB & TGE Identities

  • • Stress

  • • Healthy Relationships

How To Get Started

  • 1. SCHEDULE A CONSULT

First, we will schedule a free 15 minute video consultation to get to know you and talk about what you are hoping to get out of therapy. I will provide you with feedback and recommendations so you can determine if my practice is a good fit for you and your needs.

  • 2. SET GOALS

During your consult, we begin to formulate and identify goals for your treatment based on your concerns. The goals we set together will help us monitor your progress in therapy and will serve as a guide for our sessions.

  • 3. SEE THE CHANGE

Together, we will work to create a safe and supportive environment so you can work through your concerns. We will explore what is holding you back and find ways to make changes to help you show up in an authentic manner in your life.

  • Life can be challenging and there are times when we could benefit from talking to a licensed therapist. Starting therapy comes with a lot of questions and I want to take my time to demystify therapy and answer any questions you have about our work together.

My training and clinical experiences have allowed me to work in hospitals, universities, community health centers, and nonprofit organizations. I draw from evidence-based approaches to ensure that all my clients receive the care they need.

Outside of my clinical work, I also supervise master level clinicians and psychologists-in-training. In addition to private practice, I serve as a consultant to organizations and businesses and help them create programs and policies to support their employee’s mental health and well-being.

I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I have trained at various settings in NYC and most recently worked at Columbia University. At this time, I also work as a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University and have the honor of training future mental health counselors.

Individual Therapy

  • Are you feeling irritable and easily annoyed by small things?

  • Are you harsh and critical with yourself when things do not go as planned?

  • Are you having a difficult time trusting yourself and making decisions?

  • Do you have trouble focusing or concentrating because your mind keeps repeating the same anxious thoughts?

  • Do you want to make changes in your life but feel scared?

  • Do you have a hard time opening up to others?

If the above statements apply to you, you may benefit from individual therapy. You may feel alone when you are going through these experiences. This is completely normal and you don’t have to go through it alone.

Couples Therapy

  • Do you find yourself putting your partner’s needs over your own needs?

  • Do you worry that your partner may not understand how you are feeling?

  • Do you find yourself wishing you had more intimacy and connection with your partner?

  • Are you and your partner worried about your future together?

  • Are you and your partner having the same arguments over and over?

  • Are you and your partner feeling disconnected from each other?

These are all common experiences that can arise in any relationship. Whether you are dating, married, or thinking about building a future with your partner, we can help you both work through relationship difficulties. We provide couples therapy to both LGBTQ and heterosexual couples in NYC. We will help you and your partner find practical solutions and help you increase your intimacy and connection.
